35th Fajr Int’l Film Festival unveils poster

The 35th edition of Fajr International Film Festival, scheduled to be organized in April 2017, has unveiled its official poster.

The official posters of the main section as well as the special section were both unveiled yesterday February 19 at the opening ceremony of the Image of the Year and Tassvir Film Festival with Iran actor Reza Kianian representing FIFF in attendance.

The official poster for the 35th edition of the festival features a design based on a photo from a collection created by late Iranian filmmaker/photographer Abbas Kiarostami.

Established in 1982, Fajr International Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 35th International Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to take place in the country’s capital of Tehran from April 21 through 28, 2017.
